Gamuda Land first introduced Gamuda Cove in September 2018, and its first development would be Palma Sands. It comprises 490 units of 2-storey link houses, with a gross development value (GDV) of RM455 million.

198 units were fully booked since its introduction, and because of this quick take-up, the developer has released the remaining 292 units for sale in February 2019. These 2-storey link houses are priced from RM680,000. Units come with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms or 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with built-ups ranging from 1,824 to 2,620 sq ft. All bedrooms, except for the 20ft by 70ft units, will have en-suite bathrooms.

The Central Park is adjacent to Palma Sands, and some of the 22’ x 75’ units are designed with dual frontage and a balcony attached to the back room. This accords residents with a view of the park.

Palma Sands will incorporate landscaping, grand entries, long and 6ft-wide driveways, gated-and-guarded security and CCTV surveillance. This gated and guarded development is adopting a security model known as crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED). This is a signature feature in all Gamuda Land’s townships where there are buffers between the pedestrian pathway and driveway, which acts to segregate pedestrians from moving vehicles. Other security features include sufficient street and back lane lighting, clear boundaries between public and private areas, and street patterns to reduce crime.
